We're happy to accept returns for items within 30 days of the shipping date with a valid receipt. We do not accept returns or exchanges without a receipt, invoice, or order confirmation. If you do not have a valid receipt or if we cannot confirm your purchase in our system, no refund, credit or courtesy exchange will be issued.
- Merchandise must be returned in its original condition, unwashed and unworn (this does not include merchandise that is defective).
- Certain merchandise such as fragrance or swimwear may not be eligible for return unless in original condition.
- Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.
Final Sale
Items marked Final Sale or items that have a price ending in .97 are not returnable. Face coverings are also non-returnable.
Express Items
Online purchases shipped to a U.S. address can be returned by mail (see below) or to any Express retail store in the U.S. within 30 days of the shipping date.
Returns will not be accepted in stores outside the U.S. or at Express Factory Outlet stores. See “Starting a Return” or “Returning to Stores” sections below for assistance.
In-store purchases must be returned to an Express or Express Men retail store in the U.S. Returns will not be accepted by mail or at Express Factory Outlet stores. See “Returning to Stores” below to find an Express or Express Men retail store near you.
Express Factory Outlet Items
Please note, Express Factory Outlet stores cannot accept returns for non-Express Factory Outlet items purchased at Express or Express Men retail stores, or online at express.com.
In-store purchases must be returned to any Express Factory Outlet store in the U.S.

Express Marketplace Items
Express Marketplace or EXP Marketplace items must be returned directly to the marketplace seller and cannot be returned to Express by mail or through Express or Express Factory Outlet stores.
